The winner of multiple awards in photography, Arbugaeva was commissioned by various magazines and publications. Arbugaeva has been exhibiting her work on an international level since 2003. Her works were shown at exhibitions in the United States, Finland, Hungary and Russia. In 2008 Arbugaeva produced Following the Reindeer, her first solo book published by the Trade Commission of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In the book, Arbugaeva presents a collection of photographs taken on her trips with the reindeer herders of Yakutia. Recently, Arbugaeva produced a new series titled Tiksi which focuses on the life in her hometown.

Evgenia Arbugaeva was born in 1985 in a little Siberian port town of Tiksi in Sakha-Yakutia (Eastern Russia). She is a graduate of Moscow International University with a degree in Arts Management and she also studied at the Moscow Academy of Photography and in the International Center of Photography in New York city.
